My Precious Daughter

My Precious Daughter

Wet clothes – tangled hair,
Scattered toys, everywhere.
Fancy artwork on the wall.
Drawn by Pakhi – three feet tall.
Tell me why and tell me how
That was mine I want it NOW!
Fix my dolly. Buy me new toys.
If you have it, I want some.
Dirty dresses, grass-stained knees,
Learning words like sorry, please.
Endless hugs & goofy wet kisses,
Learning tantrums, with twinkling eyes.
Dress like a princess that never wear a frown.
In a happy mood, love to dance around.
Always want a bowl and a spoon.
Take me outside to show me the stars and the moon.
Always wants to watch her favorite cartoon,
Whether it’s day, night or noon.
Loves bathing and playing with water.
All in the life of my precious daughter!!

Abha Mondal

I am a simple woman from India who wants to live every moment of her life as it comes. I believe in taking every chance I get in life because some things only happen once.
